Fanshawe Alumni Association Giveaway – Rules & Regulations

1. Giveaway Period

The Fanshawe Alumni Association Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on June 4, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 17, 2026 (the “Giveaway Period”).

2. How to Enter

To enter the Giveaway, participants must submit an entry via:

the PERKS website (www.fanshawe.ca/perks), or

the Fanshawe Alumni PERKS mobile application

Entries must be received during the Giveaway Period to be eligible.

3. Giveaway Sponsor

The Giveaway is sponsored by the Fanshawe College Alumni Association (the “Giveaway Sponsor”).

4. Eligibility

To enter and be eligible to win, entrants must:

Be a registered PERKS member; and

Be a graduate of Fanshawe College (defined as having an official Fanshawe College transcript showing a status of “Graduated”).

Employees of the Advancement and Alumni Department of the Giveaway Sponsor are not eligible to enter. Other Fanshawe College staff and faculty are eligible provided they meet the graduation requirement above.

5. Prizes

All prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Prize winners are responsible for all costs not expressly included in the Prize description, including any additional personal expenses.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents are permitted. The Giveaway Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a Prize (in whole or in part) with one of equal or greater value if necessary due to availability.

If a winner is under the age of majority in their province of residence, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required to accept the Prize.

6. Winner Selection

On or after July 17, 2026, a random draw will take place in London, Ontario, Canada from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

The first eligible entry drawn will be selected as the potential winner.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

The Giveaway Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential winner by email within one (1) business day of the draw.

If the potential winner cannot be contacted within one (1) business day, they will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

Proof of identification may be required.

The Giveaway Sponsor will verify graduation status through Fanshawe College records. If a potential winner does not meet eligibility requirements or fails to comply with these Rules, they will be disqualified and another entrant may be selected.

All winner selection and notification procedures will continue until a qualified winner is confirmed. In all cases, a winner will be selected no later than July 17, 2026.

7. General Conditions

All decisions of the Giveaway Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway, including eligibility and winner selection.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Giveaway Sponsor assumes no responsibility for:

Lost, late, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete entries

Technical errors or malfunctions

Human or technical failures

Network or system interruptions

The Giveaway Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway if it becomes compromised or cannot operate as intended, including due to fraud, technical issues, or any other causes beyond its control.

The Giveaway Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Rules.

Any attempt to deliberately damage the Giveaway system or undermine its operation may be subject to legal action.

9. Privacy & Personal Information

By entering, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for the purpose of administering the Giveaway.

Personal information may include, but is not limited to: name, email address, age, and contact information.

10. Governing Law

This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.

In the event of any discrepancy between these Rules and any promotional materials, these Rules shall govern.

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to the Giveaway, including trademarks, logos, promotional materials, and digital content, are owned by the Giveaway Sponsor or its affiliates. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
